We expressed the nor construct in Pseudomonas putida EM42 to establish denitrification in this organism.

As the nor construct contains a rhamnose inducible promoter, the optimal rhamnose concentration (0.23 mM) was determined by performing a growth experiment in which the OD600 was measured continuously over time (Figure 1).
